Fantastic stuff G. It's innovations like these with the denim that keeps IH so fresh.

I couldn't have said it better myself.

H showed me a new denim he is working on with (perhaps) his favourite house mill. This utilises a weft made from the same pulp as paper money. The weft is amazingly strong and very thin, this results in a very dark face and a denim that is really thin for it's weight…..
What weight denim is he thinking of making?
Loving the potential on this one, btw.

That sounds fantastic. That 15-19 oz range is, for me at least, the perfect weight for denim. And the darker, the better.
-
Sounds interesting! This in the 633 cut would be a certain purchase for me. Other cuts: maybe as well.
-
Well, we probably shouldn't get ahead of ourselves; it's a long road between test batches of fabric and full production. That said, I believe the 633 is a Self Edge exclusive model, so I'd rather see this in a more broadly available fit, like the 634 or the 666.

The new denim looks fantastic!!! Would love the classic 634 cut

Me too, thin and heavy prob means some mean fade potential.

Looks great. Will the chino cloth cuff lining be used on all flannels from here forward or will it depend on fabric weight, etc?

I suspect we may see it on more heavy flannels moving forward….
