I know questions like this kinda suck because i know i just gotta try stuff on in person, but what do you guys think i should go for looks wise with my frames? I have a long and narrow face… sucks bad enough just trying to find sunglasses i look ok in
Any input will be helpful... just curious as to other peoples opinions
Best advice I can give you is this:
1. Think about your lifestyle and when/where/how you'll be wearing the glasses. Get frames that match those needs. Don't get frames that look cool, but are too delicate for your lifestyle (I made this mistake).2. Take someone whose taste you trust with you to narrow down the options. Try on several pairs and get their honest opinion on which ones look good from all angles. Sometimes glasses that look good head on in the mirror look strange from the side (I made this mistake).
3. Spend some time wearing the frames; don't just put them on, see how they look, then take them off. Take a few minutes and think about how they feel. Do they slide down your nose? Do they press too tightly above the ears? Do your eyelashes rub against the lenses when you blink? A great looking pair of frames is no good if you hate wearing them (I made this mistake).
4. Don't be afraid to spend money. I get the thinnest, lightest lenses possible, with anti-reflective and smudge resistant coatings. Sure it costs more, but having glasses that I like is totally worth it to me. Being able to see well and look good is an investment you shouldn't cheap out on.
Having said all that, I like the Ray Ban RX5113s for you.
