Watches - another OCD problem
-
I'm with you 100% on this one. Really superb.
-
Anyone here ever messed with Zenith watches? I could see the Elite Captain Central Second appealing to those who dig Grand Seiko. I'm a big fan of the El Primero Striking 10th as well.
-
Really nice Qinhan! Your second Tudor sub now?
-
Qinhan, maybe this guy is your Tudor's bro!
-
That's the mini-sub! I've always been partial to the snowflakes.
Me too but this one was only $500

Hodinkee have got a guide to watches below $5000 that their staff would go for.

Me, I'd be tempted by a 1953 Omega RAF watch. They go for around $2000 to $3000, and I'd use the balance to get it restored at Bienne.
Anyone else have any ideas?

Yep, I have spoken to Richard my Watch man about the Grand Seiko Spring drive Ti Diver. Now, Richard knows a thing or two about watches, owning 300 at the last count - and I'm not talking Swatches here . Some of you will know Richard, so you will be able to imagine him saying "Now that's a proper. proper watch"…..

The Spring Drive looks very nice. Did you see the piece on the steel version at Hodinkee?

A recent purchase of mine: vintage Tudor Sub with faded "ghost bezel" (bought from original owner with papers )
Fantastic to see these photos, Q. Congrats again on a great vintage addition. Hope there is more to come…
