Wow! Good job.

Decided to give my Horsehide Thorogoods a little polish…
They're about three years old and a somewhat mixed package, with some horrible loose grain showing, but also some nice patina slowly developing…
Still my favorite go-to boots mainly due to the excellent fit - it feels like the last was custom made for my feet.

Found a little time yesterday for boot care. The only boot missing from my line up is the Roughout Foot Patrols.

Redwings are my favorite! Two pairs of 8111 and one 875.
8111 before and after oil
875 before and after cleaning

I didn't want to clutter up the Wesco or whites thread with this question so I'll ask here.
Wesco Jobmaster vs Whites Bounty Hunters for everyday abuse and work. The Wesco look heavy duty with the stitching and everything which I'm into. But I also like the stream line of the bounty hunter.
Can anyone with both chime in and comment which they prefer and why?

Have both, like both - wouldn't want to choose. Get one of each! Comfort-wise I love the "arch-ease" extra support of White's but it's not everyone's cup of tea. White's might be a tad less costly but you shouldn't let that be the deciding factor. I'd read the threads and see what catches your eye and appeals most to you visually and aesthetically…
P.S. half (or more) of the fun is the search! Read the threads!

That's what i have been doing, and researching the leather options for both. I think it's going to come down to which one will fit me better. I sent an email out to Baker so just waiting to hear back and then pull the trigger.
I know I'm going to send up with both at some point. So I may go with whites initially because they're slightly cheaper and you get more options for the price. Then go all out on a custom fit pair of wescos!
