IHJ-35-BLK - Japanese Horsehide Rider’s Jacket - Black (Tea-Core Dyed)

Erm, because it is better. I defy anyone to pick up a Schott and compare it with a leather jacket from Flat Head, or Real mcCoys or Joe McCoys or indeed Iron Heart and say it is better. I have jackets from them all, and Aero and Simmons Bilt and a few others, so I do know what I am talking about…. And the J100 which this jacket is derived from is a our interpretation of a Buco, not a Schott....

While manufacturing can be standardised almost everywhere, Japanese 'craftsmanship' is indeed unequalled in my opinion. But it comes at a higher price, that's the compromise. We pay for what we get. I'd love me a U.S. made Schott at some point but that's a different tiers for me, in both price and quality/attention to details

Jackets are made by these guys, if memory serves me correctly: http://www.4speed.co.jp

The fit on that is really perfect!

@tmg:
These pics are tipping me over the edge, and I never thought I'd want a black leather jacket!
I was just thinking the same thing!
