Iron Heart Coaster - World Tour 2010-2012
-
Well there's only one sad black and white photo of the coaster in this update, hopefully the other pictures will make up for that. I was in Richmond, VA visiting my girlfriend and she took me to a place called the Hollywood Cemetery. It has a ton of excellent old tombstones with a lot of history behind them. This is most likely my last update and its been a blast! I can't wait to see what adventures these coasters will go on.
Ms. Jestre & I trying to look cool in front of a tomb that is regularly broken into by local Satanists at night.
Inside shot of a tomb.
There were several tombstones that were carved to look like a tree, this was the best one.
This was erected shortly after the Civil War in remembrance of Confederate soldiers.
Looking tired in my IHSH-23. -
Great stuff, Jestre. The cemetery is amazing. I may have to start checking out some local ones to see if I can find half as much cool stuff as you did. I especially love the tree headstone. That's just sweet.
You've set the bar pretty high for the rest of us on the tour. I'm gonna have to step up my game.

Sweet. It is now the haunted coaster

In my possession, pics taken, posting soon.

Apologies. Here's my meger attempt at a Thanks giving update, without any pictures of the turkey or food, but really Jester's a hard act to follow. Was busy chowing, but managed to get a few anyway
Many thanks to Jester, once again for awesome updates and Pennsyvanian meibutsu/souvenirs and Giles for the coaster tote.
Heading to the coast (Salinas, CA) this weekend and will bring them along.
