Our Cars (dream or actual)

@louisbosco here in the states that's a Mazda 3S Grand Touring. I sell Mazdas for a living and have a 3S hatchback myself. Great car, congrats. Quick question though– what are the two things on the front bumper between the headlight and fog light? Looks like the round one could be a parking sensor, but that's not an option here in the states. Just curious.

thanks guys!
@ben2t yeah i'm still getting used to the extra gear, my previous was a 5sp and the one before was a m-dct. so i still need to get used to that extra gear especially when cruising and downshifting. how's your st so far?
@xtcclassic mm yeah. you're right. though i think in the states it comes from the mexico factory while for us in aust, it's from the japan factory. there are some slight variation even with interior features and such. the two front dots are the front park sensors yes. it's an extra option and i find it really useful when it comes to tight spaces when others dont know how to park. also, the problem i have between the sedan and the hatch is that the hatch back has the cutout for the twin pipes exhaust whereas the sedan doesn't. more of a sedan man myself so i really couldn't see myself driving the hatch…

Actually, the 3i models (with the 2.0 engine) are mostly built in the Mexican factory (we still get random ones in from Japan) but the 3S models are all built in Japan. It's interesting that different countries have different available options, I never really thought about that. Anyway, enjoy your new car, you're going to love it.

@louisbosco i am enjoying the ST it was really fun to drive, have installed a catback and coilover, thinking of buying new wheels with a little more aggressive offset. Your Masda looks good, a coilover will make it look more aggressive.
-
@ben2t ah yeah you've installed most of the stuff i wanted to do on mine. my coils came before my car did and it'll probably go on within the next week or so. then after it's volk forged and a catback exhaust for me. what rims were you looking at?
-
@louisbosco ST wheel bolt pattern is weird at 4x108 and there are only few limited options, i am leaning toward Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 17x8 40eta.

I'm into the 'stance scene' here in Utah. Love my cars and I feel blessed to have friends that enjoy taking pictures of my cars.
