Japan Trip - November 2010

Giles that/this is an absolutely fantastic post, thanks so much for putting it up. I lived in Japan for two years. I also practice Judo at the Budokwai near my place in London. Your pictures really touched me, and show the quality and finish the Japanese have come to master. It's quite funny and they will tell you themseleve that the Japanese have invented nothing but perfected everything. Well they lie on that one they have infact invented the Kareoke machine! Great Post Thanks!

Whilst at The Works, I spotted this pair of IH-634 waiting for more repairs. One of the first pair of jeans Haraki ever sold, they come in about once a year for a rebuild:
If we're talking about grail state jeans, this comes pretty close to my imagination of the perfect jeans.. At least concerning nowadays denim, left vintage mining pants (and barista stained)aside.

I keep finding more:
Not my IHSH-21, but it might as well be:
Hiro and Daniel - not sure I'd be smiling if that thing was hugging me….
The Boss and Tom sorting out a bite to eat, the carnivore in the background scents a kill…
Tom looking effortlessly cool (and beautiful)…
Daniel, Mrs G and the Swiss Family Robinson pause for a beer(s)….
-
Oh no, I have more…................
The beautiful Ayumi, the Swiss Family Robinson, Daniel and (the beautiful - yes she reads my posts), Mrs G
Coaster, Iced coffee, IH Forum and 3.5 hours on the Shinkansen, what more does a man need?
This was supposed to show Fredy's towel in true indigo staimed splendour, but it didn't work out as planned, so just focus on Fredy and his rather splendid IHSH-16
