@seul You mean the 10YO Talisker? Lagavulin has a different character, but if you liked the Talsiker, you'll love Lagavulin. More Peat, more Sherry, a bit more of everything.

Talisker and Lagavulin happen to be my two favorites. The best drams I ever had were a 40yo Talisker (honestly nectar, wish I could have afforded more than one pour) on the Isle of Skye and a Lagavulin distiller's edition (I consider this a real gem at its price point, though it's still way beyond my usual means).

Jameson's
-
@Megatron1505 - Jameson's is always a staple for me. Been trying out new whiskeys and going back to some (affordable) ones I hadn't had in a while. The Bulleit Rye is new for me, so I'm excited to try it out. It's budget style price wise, but if I like it as much as I did the Bourbon, I'll be a happy guy.

Jameson's is my go to whiskey, I've tried expensive, I've tried cheap…..Jameson's is the staple.

Have a bottle of Laphroaig Lore being shipped to me at the moment. Supposed to be the peatiest Laphroaig ever made. Crossing my fingers this is true.
