^ Nice ^

Thank you. Wish I had a better pic, but my stuff is living perpetually in boxes in storage these days

I wish! I'm afraid my ceramics days are long past. I'm too much of a hermit these days. Can do the colored pencil and paper on occasion, but even that is rare. Ebb and flow…
But you're work is progressing impressively! That cordovan bill fold you posted is absolutely stunning and will be my grail piece at some point down the road. Keep it up, chief!
Here's another image of one of mine with appreciable texture. Keep in mind this is all done with lines and handwriting in colored pencil. no more no less as @Finkster says

@adam313 Well thank you for the kind words! And I'm a fan of any work you do, so please keep sharing!
That Shell Bifold is going to accompany me to a wedding in a couple months. Need to keep some cash on-hand for the bar! I don't often get to make things for myself, so it was fun to get a chance to do that.

@adam313 really like that, superb.

Thank you!

Today begins my second attempt and indigo dyeing several items I have collected. An oatmeal Buzz sweat is getting the dunk and is a white chambray I picked up for cheap. I have a couple of t's going under including a Human Made which I think will end up looking spectacular because of Warehouse's loose weave. Pics to follow!
Un saludo!

^ Nailed it. Glad the drawing is similar enough that someone can pick out what was referenced. I hope to use a few more of his photos as reference in the near future. Incredible photographer.

He's definitely up there! Went to a talk he was giving once and he's seen some things! Looking forward to seeing more! @BloodnThunder

^^I bet. It's incredible the situations he had to have been in to take the pictures he has. Reminds me of Kevin Carter, took some incredible photos that were also heartbreaking. Definitely plan on keeping the ball rolling.

Put a solid 10 hours into this one yesterday. I'm calling it "Batman". The portrait is of Daniel Kish a man who was born blind and taught himself to 'see' via echo location.
