Out motorcycle shopping today. I'm planning on getting a Thruxton R, though mine will be in matte black. Note that the Bullitt with Union Jack graphic matches perfectly.
The new Bonneville Black looks very nice.
But the matte gunmetal grey looks better.
@GuzziRob is threatening to get a Triumph Thunderbird. He'll have to change his username if he does.
This is the Storm variant.
I'm not a cruiser man, or a Harley fan, but the CVO Pro Street Breakout is a cool machine. I'd probably go for a Low Rider S instead.
The detailing on the engine is really nice.
If I was dropping big bucks on a cruiser, it'd have to be the XDiavel.

saw a review on bike world tv about the thruxton r it got great reviews and they said it was like chalk and cheese between the std thruxton and the thruxton r.
di dont think you can go wrong with that one

Man, that matte gunmetal grey Bonneville looks fantastic.
Never ridden but always wanted to. Maybe sometime soon I'll learn!Same. Bonneville could be awesome with just a few subtle tweeks.

Everyone I ride with is getting slow… need something that is less... erm... enthusiastic.
And less Italian in the reliability stakes
The Thunderbird is damn nice - particularly in the Nightstorm flavour which has me drooling. With the massive fuel tank, massive mpg and comfy seating it could be a very, very nice place to do a lot of miles!
And apparently I don't have to wait for my wee boys to finish school before doing the Nordkapp......

@Jordonf9 Nice Indian!
@Clint_D Thanks for posting the photos. There are some cool bikes there, looks like it was a fun show.
@harley dave Have you considered the R1200R instead of the RT? It's basically the same bike, albeit without half a tonne of plastics on it. I used to run one, and it was comfortable to do 300 mile days, whilst also being pretty frugal - I think that I averaged around 50 mpg.

Suus are a lifestyle motorcycling retailer that's recently opened in Melbourne. They're similar to Urban Rider or The Cafe Racer in the UK, in that they offer more lifestyle orientated technical gear, rather than the sort of kit you'd wear on a circuit.
That's not to say it's not crashworthy. The Smith jacket is a collaboration with Richa, and is leather with D3O armour. Silodrome covered it a few days ago.
Saint are a Melbourne brand that the store that builds gear out of denim, dyneema, and kevlar.. The flight jacket looks sharp, and I'm after a pair of their drill pants.
Oh, and there's a nice collection of bike porn to admire in the showroom…
