IHAL-01 - Horse Hide Cafe Racer with Collar

Anyone able to measure a 42/XL sleeve length for me? Is it dead on 25.5 or little longer? On the fence with ordering one.
Could anyone tell me how the sleeve pullback is when reaching straight forward? I would be using this on the bike all the time and don't want to have a sleeve going past my wrist really. Thanks!

@Giles - if the XXL in the IHJ-37 is perfect for me in terms of length of the body (it measures 28") would I be better off getting a "Long" version (in XXL) of this since the length is 26" on the standard? I already consider the 37 to be a "short" jacket in terms of length… Or am I being dumb and this (IHAL-01) is designed to be shorter than a standard jacket. How much longer are the "long" versions or is that simply custom based on the buyer? Thanks, Adam

Thanks! I figured they were supposed to be shorter, but never having had a Leather jacket, I'm not familiar with the the drape / bunching of the fabric etc…
I appreciate the input!

I know it's a long shot, and it's my own damn fault, but does there happen to be a Large (possibly XL) brown or Burgundy hiding anywhere? I skipped buying this last year and snagged the deck coat, which is now too big on me, so I need another winter jacket… to wear under the deck jacket lol

@Giles - Any chance you remember if any retailers bought these? I know it's a long shot. and once again, my own damn fault.

I doubt you could wear an IHAL-01 under anything unless that thing is at least two sizes too large for you. If your deck coat really is that big, and your climate really is that cold, then I guess you could order an equivalent jacket from Simmons Bilt. That would probably be a 4-pocket Roadster with Ventile lining and a moleskin mid-layer. Putting that monstrosity under a deck coat still sounds kinda ridiculous though. The IHAL-01 isn't exactly a good layering piece.

I was more so joking. However, the IHM-10 is indeed ridiculously sized on me Now that I've lost some weight.
My intention is to sell off the Deck Jacket and slide into a leather jacket of some sort. Our climate isn't that cold but it's extremely humid, so anything under 55 degrees gets bone chilling. The Thick FQHH + Moleskin + Ventile is what has had me looking at this jacket for more than a year now and still Wanting it. Figured I'd better get it now while I'm a bit slimmer as Inspiration not to gain much back haha

Keep up posted regarding whatever you end up getting. I'm looking for a leather jacket too and we are similar sizes.

Hey G-man, do you recommend using (OR NOT USING) any particular type of leather care cream/paste/oil on this bad boy? I'm squeaking up a storm when I wear it, and I want to protect my investment. Any thoughts?
