FLATHEAD Denim shirt Shrinking question

I have a FLAT HEAD 7002W denim shirt that is size 44, a size 42 would fit me ideally. Anyone know whether washing and dying in order to make it shrink a bit would be effective. I don'T want to wash it but I would like it a little smaller. Thanks for any help.

Imo washing / drying in order to shrink to a smaller size is never ever going to be as effective as buying the correct size.
If you do wash / dry in an attempt to shrink then you do so without any guarantees of what you will end up with.
It's a tricky one to call
