Fullcount denim

Has anyone tried the 21 oz? Do they use all cotton thread on them like on the lower weights? Am I right to think that it is the shrinkage of the cotton thread that produces the wrinkles in the seams which IHs don't have?
Called into Son of a Stag today and picked up a couple of pairs of these. They are really nice. Resisted the 25oz Sammies, though - don't like the triple stitching.

No it's the shrinkage of the denim and to some extent the weight of the denim. Our 14oz produces great "wrinkles in the seams"….
Thanks @Giles . I have just got some 21 oz Full Count 1109. They are wrinkling a bit even though only 2 days old and unsoaked/washed. It will be interesting to see how they shape up. Dimensions are as per 666 UHR with a much lower rear rise. The red tab was cut off - apparently a Levis requirement (SOAS sell LVC). Nice big rear pockets are unlined, no selvedge on the fly, no upturned belt loops, and all cotton stitching but really nice denim and colour. Wrinkle (or no wrinkle) pics are of new FC 21 oz 1109, IH 1955 UHR, IH 634 UHR, IH 666 XHS, LVC 1955 Valencia St 1996 and LVC 1955 2006.

Seems a bit average that the red tab has to be cut off…
You'd think as the Full Count dealer for Europe (or UK, can't remember which), SOAS could have them made without the tab.

@dylantbmayes I was a bit surprised as there is no indication on-line that they would be sold without a tab. Not over-fussed, though.

I just got a pair of black sulfer dyed FC's from a US dealer and they have the tab attached still. Ill post some pics when i have some
I also bought a pair of Strike Golds a year ago and the tab was cut off and placed in the 5th pocket. Sucks they gotta get cut off, but nice that $300 jeans dont look like $50 Levis -
For the true repro brands, creativity is not where it's at. What they are obsessed about is creating the best version of something that has been made before.
The exact opposite of this is Haraki. When I asked him to make me a 1955 cut he was seriously not interested. There was virtually no way he could express his creative flair…..he made them under sufferance, and I suspect to shut me up....

1101 W31 (sized 1 down)
The 13.75oz denim stretches like hell, but I like it very much. Great and simple/basic pair, love it.
Thanks to @VaterundSohn for let me cheat on IH -

Very nice @beautiful_FrEaK @Jeansman @JCMx800

Perfect fit. Too bad I should not buy any new stuff.

Don't change a thing as they look about perfect to me. They will definitely stretch in the waist and pretty quickly. What do you think of the denim? It gets lots of vertical falling and a variety of colors. Dont get attached to the arcs as they disintegrate fast [emoji1]

Thats the pair of jeans you always wanted Flo

@Max:
Finally got me a pair of FC as well, couldn't resist them. Size 34 onewash is snug with a waist of 34,5" but I'm sure they'll stretch perfectly. Just the very long inseam (above 36") is bugging me, as I don't want to loose the nice chainstitch I'll probably have to wear a double cuff.
I'm finding it difficult to resist the idea of a couple of pairs of raw 1101 XXs to use for hot/dirty/rough garden and other outdoor work to exploit their fade potential…...

Yes, that could be the one. Just have to decide wether to cuff or hem.
