I live for indigo … but, [RAW] are indefinitely off limits to my Hoppers. Got strong aversion to indigo stains on anything__ I'd like to keep the dye strictly in the jeans, if I can help it.
However, we'll see how things progress__ quite the newb on the whole engineers steez … Oh! Thank god I held on to my straights__ slim tapered won't do on these.

New pickup. First time with the 2030. I'm going to be wearing thin socks for a while. My Wild Ones and old service boots are size 11 as well.

Thanks @den213. I actually didn't even realize they were horse until they came today. It was definitely a nice surprise.

great pic(k)s there @Bluegrass @summ3rhays ….

Mr Porter are now stocking natural Chromexcel roughout Hikers, and I like them an awful lot. I'm just not sure how the Thinsulate lining will cope with the Australian summer.
Also, via Styleforum, Maple Co have a Service Boot with a denim tongue, and a side zip.

Service Boot, in a slightly modified pattern, and made from unglazed Sell Cordovan. They're going up for sale at Viberg.com on Friday, and will probably be sold out in a matter of seconds.
I'd be tempted, but the boot is on the 2030 last. I don't entirely get on with this, and the elongated toe lengthens my feet. I'm already a size 13 in their boots, and the extra inch or so it adds isn't necessarily a good look.

Too dressy for my tastes personally. The unglazed shell looks nice, would be a good looking workboot!
Clearly well made but I'm with Broak - a bit too dressy for my tastes

First pair of engineer boots, Viberg Hopper made with aged bark leather.
These were part of a GMTO through Styleforum and they came out very nicely.
I went with a size 12, the right boot is a little big but I think it will settle with some wear.
Glad to finally have a pair of engineer boots, perfect timing for the fall!
