i have made a thread for CSF on sufu but i thought id make a dedicated thread here to try and make more people aware of the brand ( if they were not already ) . The founder Yoshiaki Konaka has a real passion for vintage and it really comes through in his work , he has spent quite a while sourcing and repairing old Singer and Union Special machines that were used in the production of LEVIS during the 40's so that he can accurately recreate the stitching and give the feel of a vintage garment

so far he has made a 1946 , 47 and ww2 reproduction , there is also a 1941 model ( basically a 37 repro ) available exclusively through Jukebox vintage in Japan

Great posts and info on the brand. You must be very pleased with the fit you got on several of those pairs. It kind of reminds me of Ooe Yofukuten. Very nice. The Japanese artisans just continue to impress. Thank you for sharing.

if im honest id put them at the opposite end of the of of the spectrum to Ooe , where Ooe tends to be super clean and meticulous construction Yoshiaki ( csf ) makes the jeans as they were made …. flaws and all ( this is what drew me to the brand ) , Ooe like Iron Heart make great jeans but they are examples of what can be achieved as opposed to what was

Appreciate all the photos and thoughts @Flash. Conners has been a brand that has intrigued me for awhile now. May have to pick your brain on fits beforehand if I ever decide to pull the trigger.

Adding my kudos, the jeans look great. And in particular those cuffs look so cool on you, I won't give up on badgering you to abstain from hemming!
That jacket worn buttoned up like a shirt in the diner picture with your beautiful son, it would not by any chance be the very one offered for sale at present? -
Ah, I ought to have looked more closely! Anyhow, looking good (and will be cooler still when rocked hard and faded).
