Hard Drinkers, Lets Drink Hard (Spirits, Liquors and Cocktails)

The best is (to me) the 18 Year old. I got it at a reasonable Price, around 70-80 €. I wouldn't pay over 100 for it - the Variation has been quite wild over the last years. It's in my top 3 of all whiskies I've had so far.
A Close second is the Distiller's Edition. Around 60€ for the 1L Version makes it the most value for Money - if you like the fruity Sherry influences of the extra maturation.

The Dark Storm is indeed inferior to the Standard 10 YO, although it's a good Whisky. It's probably the most peaty Talisker of the ones I tried, but in that field there's also good Islay whiskies and it lacks some cask influences that the 10 YO has to offer.
Like I wrote regarding the Distillers Edition, it depends on wether you like Sherry influenced Whisky or not. I think that the peaty -spicy note of Talisker and the sweetness of the Sherry create a super complex Whisky that has a lot different aspects to explore. Same goes for the Port Ruighe, but this one lacks a bit age and maturation.
So, I'd recommend either the Distiller's Edition for a Sherry influenced Talisker or the Standard 10 YO for a less complex but well aged Whisky.

I've had a smoky "Whisky beer" from England some years ago, but it was not to my liking.
