Fullcount denim

Yes, well @501/IH , I'm sure you're right! I could get a pair of size 30 in London at a price, but with the red tab cut off!
-
Jeansman, if you have the funds and the time to do justice to them, I think it would be worth it. I personally would not so terribly mind the cut-off red tab, as it's the feel and look of the denim Fullcount uses that makes me such a fan, but if it's a big issue for you, how about obtaining them at Denimio?
As long as they fit so you can barely button them, they should be awesome. -
Sadly, @501/IH , funds are in short supply at present and the £269 charged by Son of a Stag is over the top. I agree that the red tab doesn't really matter (one of my favourite pairs of jeans at the moment is a pair of Full Count 1109 21 oz without the red tab). The 1101XX in raw state is in very short supply. Denimio is out of stock and although the FC on-line shop has stock I can't read Japanese order forms and have been told they don't supply outside Japan.

I'm with ya, one has to watch ones budget, I'm on a 2017 denim austerity programme myself. With doubts how long and thorough I'll last…
Let's rock our existing denim hard, that's always good! My one really beat up pair of Fullcounts is one of my absolute faves anyway.

My undersized raw size 30 1101XXs, have arrived. The 15.5 oz denim is quite rough like the raw size 31s I got at Christmas. It also matches the raw Type 1 and Type 2 jackets I got at the end of last year. The denim of the UK sourced raw size 33s I got in the summer is much smoother. They came with a brown plastic flasher, but the flasher on the newer jeans is white card. As yet, I have not shrunk the newer denim. The older denim shrinks but then stretches again.

Couldn't resist this great fc type ll

I love FC denim, that's the main reason I got it. It feels very soft and light, like a real denim jacket. A nice change from all the heavy stuff. I am a lot into vintage feel these days and it fits perfectly. Also got my 1101 hemmed and ready to be worn.

Great!!! But the Tuxido would look smarter with the chucks or vans

haha, I won't wear it like this, I prefer to wear at least a jacket and pair of Jeans in different stages of Evolution. Or chinos. By the way, let's see a Picture of your pair!

I'm currently wearing raw 1101XXs in sizes 30 and 31 and raw 1108XXs in size 33 (these suitably cuffed due to the L36 leg) and raw Type 1 and type 2 jackets in the XX 15.5 oz denim. I have washed some size 33 1101XXs a few times. They have shrunk but then stretched again with wear. However, my oldest FCs are only 6 months old so I don't know whether the shrink/stretch pattern will continue as they age and are repeatedly washed or whether they will gradually shrink over time.
As my size 30 1101XXs, while quite snug, are not uncomfortably tight, I keep on wondering whether I could actually size down to a size 29 in the 1101XXs? However, I keep delaying washing them (and the size 33 1108XXs which are not much bigger in the thigh and should have been washed long ago) so I don't know how shrinkage will affect the fit and length of the smaller waists and shorter 34 legs when they have been washed and long term.
Luckily, I hadn't needed to think about it as there were no raw 1101XXs available in size 29….until now!!! Do I dare take the plunge? I know I shouldn't incur the expense and can't really face the stress and hassle of going for them....or a spare pair of size 30s at the moment. No doubt the thought will gnaw away at me until either I succumb, or they are now longer available again!
Once the object of my desires is no longer available, I will be able to relax again if I have not succumbed to the temptation. I couldn't resist a pair of size 32 IH 634 UHRs on the 12th day of Christmas but I still kept watch on the stock levels as I guessed there would be close of model offers. I was away last week when @Giles took his stock clearance decision and now they are all gone in my size, which is actually a relief as I still have unworn pairs.
The XX 15.5 oz Full Count denim is something really special in my opinion. May be I have now found the perfect pair of jeans…or is that a pair of 1101XXs in size 29???

Two weeks ago, I bought the last size 34 of the 1108 from Vater & Sohn. One-wash with great roping. Nice slim straight fit, just love these!

@ Jcmx800 Yeah we should. Bring your FCs then! All pigs must die would be the next firm date, but maybe we can manage before that.

Has anyone ordered the rigid 'Extreme' 14.5 oz 25th anniversary editions of the Type 1 jacket, 0105 jeans or 1108 jeans? So far as I can see, the denim is very thinly dyed. Does this mean that it has mega fade potential? I would be very interested to hear more information about this and what 'Extreme' is supposed to signify. On the other hand the £ implications of 1 jacket, 1 0105 (significantly undersized) and 1 1108 will be 'Extreme' in themselves (particularly as I await further undersized 1101XXs - I can't get enough of this denim!).
