IH-634S-PD - Indigo 18oz Money Denim Straight Cut
- "Yenim" - the weft is made from Japanese currency pulp, so an obvious nickname!
- This highly experimental denim utilizes the warp from our 18oz denim and uses a weft made from paper currency pulp, which is half the diameter of a cotton yarn, but twice as strong
- We are delighted with the end result which is a denim that feels like 14oz but is stronger than 18oz (but is actually about 16oz), however it was a lot more difficult to weave successfully than anticipated so we don’t plan to make this denim/”yenim” again
- Because the currency pulp weft is so thin there is not a lot of weft see-through on the face, resulting in a very dark indigo denim

We called this denim 18oz initially, but decided to change to 14oz to avoid confusion.......

I got a pair.
I've been eyeing these since they were first announced. Excited to get these on my legs.
Getting the inseam cut to 35.5"
I have 634s-b @ 36" and 634s @35". I figured I would split the difference.

And 33 is gone. I would have had to sit this one out regardless, but it is nice to have no temptation. Congrats to everyone who manages to get a pair of these.

I saw that, but no way my thighs are fitting in to those.

I love the dark indigo colour, but the "vanity" sizing of the waist make these a no-go…

This is a feeling reminiscent of when the Loom Breakers dropped. In both cases, I wished I could, but it was financially impossible. It may sound silly, but when you guys post fit pics and evo, I genuinely feel happy knowing that someone got such a great pair of jeans. I really do enjoy them vicariously through you guys. My point is: please post pics!

These bleed alot. My legs were all blue yesterday when i took them off.
I think these will fade fast. I'm already showing wear in my right pocket where i put my pocket knife after 4 days of wear and an initial soak.
I'll try to get some pictures up this weekend sometime
