@QuantumMechanic that looks like a perfect fit!
-
@Jett129 get one, but I am partial to all of the buffalo checks!
@kevypf597 thanks, they're perfect. Hope I don't lose any length after a wash. They are so comfortable right out of the blue bag!

Loving the really dark face on these.
-
Nice roping georgeel. This denim is full of surprises!

Got mine today, a tag 33 666. I must admit, I bought these without much investigation, a lot had to do with the 18oz claim in the title, but as I read after ordering I began to worry.
Generally, I'm not much on weights under 17oz, so it was a long weekend awaiting the shipment, figuring I'd be returning them. But…tried them on and fell in love instantly. Beautiful look and feel, and absolutely don't feel like 14oz fabric.
Plan to give them their virgin run tonight to an event I'm attending, but judging by the fact that I removed the tags and threw away the bags 5 minutes after having them on my legs, I don't think a disappointment is even possible, unless they stretch 2 sizes in 2 hours.
The fit is perfect as is, which usually means they're going to be good after a wash in a few weeks too.
Glad I took the plunge! -
@EJWells congratulations! Although I haven't measured them they shouldn't stretch much, at least mine have not after a week of wearing.

Despite first impression, I suspect these may be fast-faders and with great contrast.
And, surprisingly, their shade of indigo is very similar to that of my old pbj 007, a 14oz indigo/indigo denim. -

After a month of solid wear I gave these a wash yeterday in cold water on the hand-wash cycle of our washing machine - They're beginning to show their true blue colour's.
In terms of stretch there was maybe .5 an inch in the waist, and after the wash they matched their tag size of 29, but have already gotten back to their actual size of 30.9. I'm guessing here because I'm going by feel…they are as comfy now as they were prior the wash after a couple of hours of wearing them. No shrinkage in the length BTW.

+1 - the thinner pulp does make it like almost INDIGO/Indigo - love the color

Does anyone have a pair of 33" because I'm considering a pair? If so, what's the waist measurement?
Thank you for your help. -
Hi. Here are some quick hot pictures of a size 33. I like the dark denim, its darker than I expected. The feel is a bit different. The pictures make it look as if I have a large belly but it's caused by the sweater!

Here comes the sun3 months, third wash.
It's very difficult to capture the evolution of paper denim. It's something between regular selvedge heavy denim and indigo/indigo denim (or "deep indigo", using Pure Blue Japan language). One thing: among all my jeans, 666s-PD are the only pair I love wearing cuffed!
