They put on a great show as did Eagles of Death Metal. If Russian Circles is on the bill at the show you're going to they are also worth seeing.

They are. I'm very familiar with them, their drummer Dave used to play in a band here in St. Louis with a couple friends of mine (Riddle of Steel), he's a great drummer. I've seen them a few times. Definitely looking forward to it.

Great show, sound was a little off but not horribly. Just a bit bass- and drum- heavy. All three bands killed it though.

Just procured Mastadon tickets for May/Austin show. Friend called and asked if i was interested in taking her son and his friend. HELL YES! They got the VIP pass. I said um. No. Not payin $150 to say 'sup?'

meet and greets are definitely hit or miss. Some bands do it only because its a good way to make extra cash which ends up meaning its not worth the money. But others actually really like interacting with fans and they can be totally worth it. Highly likely you will get your money's worth with Mastodon @mikebarhoot those guys love their fans and are really cool.
