The Strike Gold
-
Recently got a Self Edge email which told me that The Strike Gold hoodies are now offered in XXL. Strongly considering. Talk me out of a $300 hoodie?
I don't think You would be a XXL. I believe we are close to the same size and my XL was too large…
Just my 2C for what it's worth.
Edit: except for the Indigo dyed ones, since they run smaller I believe.

^^^such great denim. I have the recent SE collab straight cut, and am thinking to wear those for the next DWC.

@browniemcghee I can't wait to see some good wear on that denim. I really regret passing on those.

Really happy I picked these up, haven't seen much wear over the last two months due to NYC being too hot.

Nice David. I wish my pair worked out. Their out of my size now.
That denim was so comfortable even from day one and felt awesome. Are the arcs visible yet?
Not quite, it's started to show more but not fully. My wallet has a button on it and it's started to show through a bit more now. I'll try take a photo when I'm not wearing them. I wish the thighs were slightly bigger but otherwise I'm happy with them.

I really, really want those SEXSG24. Worried about the knees though. @David_pll can you tell me your size, thigh and knee measurements? Thanks

I own a pair of the SGxSE collabs in the straight tapered. They are definitely slim. The cut is a bit funny for me as the top block in the groin is kind of loose/relaxed compared to the rest of the fit in the upper portion of the jean. In general the straight taper feels a lot more like a slim taper. Almost to the point that I legitimately wonder if they mislabeled the pair I ended up with. I love the jeans, and even with my above gripes the fit is still solid. They definitely have a strong taper which prevents them from working with a few pairs of the boots in my rotation. If you're a sneaker guy these jeans will work great. I bought a 30 in these and also own a 30 in the IH-666XHS, and a 29 in the 777S14-od. I would say the top block of the 666 XHS fits somewhat similar in slimness to the SG's but the knee and hem has considerably more room. The 777S have a very similar amount of room to the SGs in the knee but slightly more room in the calf and hem. I think part of what makes the SGs feel so slim is the denim. Its insanely awesome but is like wearing a thick Persian rug on your legs. Anytime you have an unforgiving denim, cut in a slim fit, it only exaggerates how slim the jeans is.
Here's a fairly recent shot of the jeans….

Thanks @BloodnThunder for the info. Guess these work work as I'm a 634, 633 or 888 guy. I like a knee about 9.5+ with stretch out or the fabric. Damn! These are gorgeous…. I need to call them and see if they have a 38 with measurements bigger than in the chart. Might get lucky.
How is the comfort with them? Guessing you have more of a "trimmer" fitted pair, I like a bit of room.
