I’m really into the Type IIIs and love the way the Ods look with some wear. The ideal set up for me is to have a larger sized Type III for layering and a size smaller one for a t-shirt. One issue with downsizing a Type III is sleeve length because of the stacking that happens with the 21oz as the jacket ages.
How much stacking in the sleeves might one expect? I’m thinking a half an inch but have no idea. Would this be offset by the stretch in the shoulders, especially in the OD material?
Maybe others that have an older one can weigh in.

XL OD type III with about one month wear. I'm 5'11, 190 lbs, with a '42 inch chest. I just threw it on for a quick pic, I'll take some higher quality outside pics later. [edit- I really hate it when people say they're going to do this and don't so I will ASAP]

BTW, the sleeve hem rides right over the edge of my rotator cuff when the jackets buttoned so i'd say the fit's very good. I'll post better pics later to get a fuller idea of fit. I love the jacket and wear it constantly. There's room for a buzz Rickson large sweat underneath or my other 13 oz and 10 oz hoodies.

I discussed another Type III concept last night - think traditional cut, but with a nice little twist. You will not be disappointed - Will run past Haraki tonight…...
Dig it…You can't miss with the OD IMO. Love the way it looks and feels.
