09/29/2017 Part 1:
Today started off about the same as yesterday, except for the fact that I didn't pre-load my
Coffee maker, and was running a bit later than I should have:
Had to go the traditional route of gas station cafe au lait and canned espresso
Luckily, I had some good tunes to set the mood for the day:
Opened up the gym again this AM, and this was in tap for our athletes:
Hitting a 10ft target is easy when you are 6'5:
One of my coaches came in to relieve me at 9:30, so I could make a run to the bank and make deposits… it was obviously payday for some people lol
Luckily, I was able to come home and get cleaned up and out on proper clothing for the day (WTJ included):
My sister in law is in town from Seattle, so we went to lunch. I had a salmon salad with hot bacon dressing:

09/29/2017 Part 2:
I have been talking with one of my clients for a while about trying to acquire a car for autocross racing. He has invited me to come to some races with him, but without a proper race car, I'd be a little left out (that and I barely fit into his Miata lol).He is the general manager at the Nissan store in town, and his top tech has a custom 240sx he is looking to sell, so I went and looked at it.
For those interested in this sort of thing, here are some specs:
1996 USDM 240sx frame
S14 JDM SR20 engine swap
SR20 transmission conversion
Garrett gt2871r turbo
Aftermarket intercooler
Oil cooler with stainless lines
Custom suspension build
Custom exhaustIt has a rather nice rear end [emoji12]
Doubtful my wife will let me buy it, but it's pretty sweet, and was SUPER loud haha
Came home and got to studying a bit. But first… coffee:
BONUS PIC OF ME IN SOME RETRO SHADES:
Had some English chocolate while studying (ThankS AGAIN Gav!)
As much as I love a great IPA, sometimes you just need a cold, crisp Lager
Unsolicited Marketing tip for the day:
Business cards never last very long once you hand them out. Give someone something they can use for a while, and your brand will always be right in front of them:
That's all for me today. Tomorrow will probably be more of the same, but I will be sure to annoy everyone with my posts anyways!
I'll probably go study at my alma mater, so I'll try and get some pictures as it's one of the oldest college in the south.
Cheers,
Adam

Yeah, it's great when people don't slackass their way through a leg. This is quality work.
-
Really great joining your daily routine dude, like the guys said, I love when people put this effort into a WT. For me the great thing about WT's is getting to know the participants a bit better, it's amazing how what we consider to be just our boring daily routines be is actually pretty interesting to others who have their own boring daily routine
-
Really great seeing your day.. what a fab start to the 888 WT [emoji4]

Thanks everyone - back when I was in college, I remember following the Ooe World Tour MyNudies and thought that everyone lived these super awesome lives. One dude just worked in a warehouse; nothing special, just a warehouse worker, and his tour documentation made it seem like he had the coolest live ever.
I've learned Lot of cool Things from following tours over the years - new beers to try, cool facts about buildings in Europe, photos of cool cars, and what makes families truly happy.
My goal is simply to give as much detail into how my family "does their thing" and maybe it will provide some assistance, or inspiration for something desperate to ask questions but too afraid to.
Anyways.. today should be fun, so stay tuned for another update tonight!

Absolutely agree @Appfaff , a WT done right is always one of the most interesting threads on the forum imo.

Great work. This is fun to follow.
@seul panic attack because the ABV is 0.0% -
09/30/2017 Part 1:
I have been so busy lately that I haven't gotten to hang out with the twins a whole lot, so when they woke up early, I decided to take them for donuts.
Here is our "busy road" in town lol
Arrived at destination [emoji41]
The kids weren't having the whole "sit down and eat thing" at the shop, so we packed up everything and took it home to eat:
Avery acting like she dosnt love the camera…
Grayson making "fish" sounds lol
Chocolate is always the first to be taken:
Avery was being a bit fussy, so I took Grayson to the gym with me while I coached the AM class:
Came home and got cleaned up.
BTW in case anyone cares what "grooming" products my barbershop has convinced me to buy lol
And my arm is still super nasty from my burn so doctored it up
It was like 93F here today, so I gave the WTJ a break and wore some roy ducks for my trip to Mobile

09/30/2017 Part 2:
One cool thing about going across the bay from my town of Daphne to Mobile is that I can eat at new places. Tried out a new Japanese place for some sashimi and ramen:
Then I went and did some work at the college library.
I figured I'd show you guys some pics of Spring Hill College, my alma mater. It was founded in 1883, so it's the oldest catholic college in the south, and a few buildings and roads are pretty impactful on southern culture.
A bad pic of St. Joseph's Chapel:
The original building on campus, now the administration and communications building:
Yes, we have a golf course on campus…
This is the Avenue of the Oaks. Rumor has it that the director of Forest Gump (the movie) loved this view so Much that they recreated it in CGI and placed bumps house at the end for one of the
Most iconic scenic pans in the movie
More random pics of the college
Heading over to the inlaws, so I stopped by the growler store:
Precious cargo protected [emoji12]
Alrighty guys, that's it for today, I'll check in from a CrossFit competition tomorrow
Cheers,
Adam
