@Filthy25ozJunkie:
I got to see UK's finest crust punk band DOOM tonight at Pittsburgh Skullfest. It was absolutely the best punk show I have ever seen in my entire life! Besides Doom, Siege, Appalachian Terror Unit, and Behind Enemy Lines played. The venue had great sound and acoustics, and there was plenty of room (even though the show was sold out) and had one of the most violent mosh pits I've ever seen. I had a blast.
Doom - Police Bastard is one of my all-time favorite EPs. LIVING IN THE SHADOW OF THEIR UNIFORM FEAR!!!!!

@HGS I think the split with Extinction of Mankind and Hail to Sweden are my most favorite from them. I love Tom Croft' s (ex-Excrement of War and Genital Deformities) vocals.

Wakey wakey… Some Swiss madness...
Listened to the new Paysage D Hiver Track on the DRUDKH Split 12"? Thats a classic Split Record already
-
@hgs I like the Groovie Ghoulies cover version of Gates of Steel better.

I've got to cancel that out with something or I will have it in my head forever. I had We built this city in my head all day and Listened to Less than Jake to get it out.

@Filthy25ozJunkie:
Me too. Not to get it stuck back in your head but a few years back I actually did a blog post about this song, and all the punk/hc bands covers of it

The In Your Face version is awesome.

I like the Suicide Machines cover too

Thanks G. But I'd have to fly to the UK to pick it up or pay a fortune to ship it. I have seen the tall frame before. I'm surprised it is still for sale.
I just bought this Schwinn moped a couple months ago.

Oh shit. I'll have to give it some thought. Thanks for the kind offer.

My ultimate favorite album ever. Cult classic that never gets old.

I was in a band in high school and we opened for Obituary circa late 90's, no shit.
They do have some great guitar riffs and a unique sound for sure. Singer kills it for me though. Same with Carcass. Carcass has some absolutely brilliant guitar work but the singer kills it for me. Liverpool boys too IIRC.
