Eyeglasses / Sunglasses Discussion

ok, need some suggestions on Glasses companies to check out. My eyes have been getting crazy irritated from my contacts (probably because I haven't bought new ones since 2013 lol), and I've been wearing glasses more, but don't like to wear the same ones everyday.
What are some cool companies to look into? I've worn Dior Homme for the last 5 years and a pair of Tom Fords for the last year, so I think some chunk to them.
My size is 54 18 145 (just in case certain companies don't go up large enough.
Cheers crew,
Adam

I have been wearing Mykita for the last 8 years. Super durable, light and comfortable.

a brand that jsj just put me on to but it escapes me at the moment
got to give a warning though that if you take a deep dive there is no coming back . . . but what's new, right

I’m really into Jacques Marie Mage. Small batch Japanese made, and INCREDIBLE.
I’m currently wearing their Sheridan frame in the Dun color way. They also have it in a smoke, which I really dig.
I also have a pair of Ditas and a pair of raw finish Anne et Valentin that I really dig.

@Appfaff these are some of the brands that I like.
-
Eyevan 7285 - retro styles from Japan
-
Kuboraum - German brand, more cutting edge / quirky
-
Theo - eccentric Belgian eyewear
-
Gold and Wood - wood and metal frames from Luxembourg
-
Thom Browne - more preppy American styles
I'm currently wearing a pair of Kuboraums. A local optician is clearing out their stock of Gold and Wood, and I might get a pair in the new year.
Dita, Mykita, and Anne et Valentin, mentioned above, are good.
The thing to do is hit up a few opticians, and see what sits best on your face. It can be a slow, frustrating process. But remember, life is too short to wear boring spectacles.

@Appfaff you should check out Cutler and Gross. I've worn one frame or another of theirs for probably the last 6-8 years. They're pretty good about carrying a few styles in larger sizes. My grey pair are 1214's and they're sized 53-19-145. I've also got a number of Dita frames which have a few nice pairs in larger sizes as well. The Grand Reserve 2's are really nice and fit well. If I remember correctly, they make most or all Thom Browne frames. I've seen quite a few pairs I like but most seem to be on the smaller side.

awesome @Clint_D - I really appreciate all the recommendations. In all honesty, It will probably come down to what my ophthalmologist is able to get into his shop at a discount. I'll be sure to find some frames I like and bring the to him and see what they can do.

Not a bad call either
