Haha. For reference, I wore those daily for 25 months, hiked Kilimanjaro in them, and wore them skiing a bit over 100 times. If I recall correctly, they would have been done at 15 months or so without all the repairs. Still, much better than the super poorly made Onis, above, which had minor tears at 1-2 months and massive crotch damage at something like 6. The Onis had a killer fit, but the durability wouldn't even hold up to the average average department store jeans. Comparing Samurai to IH, the IH fit is better, and I'm more impressed with the IH construction, but those Samurai 710s (standard 17 oz pair) do fade well and quickly, if that's what you're after. For reference, here's the same pair at 11 months, when they were at their most contrasty:

Ihxvs777s21. A few light spots starting to show through tho not visible on pic.

Here are my IhxVs777 at 52 days with one initial hot soak. As above, hard to see anything from afar, but there are some highlights up close…
Patch treated with Dr. Bronners lip balm of all things after soak.
Also the 526J-DD at 8 wear days. Hard to count wears on that as I do wear it most days, but only for short periods. Have started wearing it as a top layer over technical clothing for hiking adventures. This photo was taken on the summit of Larimer County Peak 9740.

Keep on wearing them. Fades are starting to look great.

“Wash day tomorrow, nothing clean right?”

here's one in a long while. been wearing lots but not snapping much so far. unfortunately, not as cold as the weather like some of you have but some showers and gale winds made it cool enough to add a light jacket..

Merry Christmas and happy New Year everyone! I gave my jeans an early Christmas present in the form of a hand wash in the tub.
I noticed quite a bit of indigo in the water, and you can definitely see the lighter blues on the left (post wash) and right (pre wash).
They also dry fast as hell… I washed them last night and they were dry this morning.
