Random Rants

I think denim and workwear is usually bought by a older crowd plus it’s not so hyped by some celebrity. So the kids aren’t thirsty for it. If Travis Scott or some other shit rapper starts buying IH we are all in trouble.
I'm glad IH doesn't use celebrities to promote their stuff (not that they'd need to).

@spitfiredealer , I only saved one old item of Supreme, which was the Lion Of Jeddah hoodie from about 2004. When I think back on my 2 box logo hoodies, coke box logo, Bape box logo, 9/11 box logo, Harajuku box logo….if I had kept it all I could have paid for his University fee’s / bail costs

Haha probably could of bought him his first car too!!
I find a fair bit of older gear pops up on yahoo.jp auctions for reasonable prices and a lot in smaller sizes if you are ever after stuff for him.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Me too. I am sure there is a few out there that have purchased IH but thankfully it’s not getting the kids hyped up for it.

Can a German tell me what this means?.. Does the buyer have to contact the customs office or what?..

It means that the item sits in customs and has not been processed Boy them yet.
If the target destination is germany the item will either get a clearence and continue to be delivered, or it will be brought to a local customs office where it can be picked up if the buyer pays taxes and fees.
If it is on the way to you, it should continue it‘s journey once customs has processed the item.

Yep, the package is currently awaiting Customs clearance. Reasons for the held can be no, or insufficient documents. Like incorrect or unclear declaration. Or "questionable" content. Don't expect it to get released before Tuesday, since we have Holidays in Germany, tomorrow and on Monday.

Ah, German Customs…. my absolute pet hate. Good luck to whomever has to deal with them...

Over time I have "trained" most people I work with to e-mail me their questions. If you're going to ask me a stupid question you don't get to interrupt what I am doing at the same time.

The selling market in denim and workwear is generally much fairer than the streetwear and sneaker market, i’ve tried to buy a few things from recent Supreme drops for my boys birthday, it is literally insane.
the time i knew about supreme was right about 2008 or so. but i never liked that brand from the moment i knew it. maybe it's because i'm not a skater. but i was more into visvim than supreme..

almost 3 years in my first job in australia and i'm calling it quits in 2 weeks. it's a bloody shame i have to leave because i've progressed along from only doing PT while in uni to going full time and getting more responsibilities in the past year since i graduated.
i don't want to sound entitled but the circumstances have forced me no choice but to leave. sundays for me are for soccer and church. i've been on this tuesday to saturday work week since a year ago. right up till about 2 weeks ago, coming from our head office, telling us that we can't be on that anymore and it has to change to one weekend on and off.
there's only 2 of us that's on that roster because we put our hands up when it was asked if anybody wanted to do it a year ago. people bitched that they couldn't because they relied on sunday pay (penalty rate) a lot but they are also the same people that started bitching that it was unfair.
i've even offered not to have consecutive days off like most other staff or even move to a further location on a PT basis but yet have been told that all require sundays availability. i believe that most other places out there in the retail industry i've seen require 5 days availability not like the full 7 that we require. (FYI part timers get to choose their availability) even dropping down to PT in my own store now is not a possibility because we're over-contracted.
i hate leaving without another job in hand but i've got 2 weeks till my season starts. i know this sounds like i'm rather sour about the whole thing and probably sound like an entitled millennial. but i feel that with most companies focusing on a work life balance in this past few years, asking for a sunday off isn't too much especially when i'm not just demanding and i'm offering solutions around it.
the one thing i don't get is that, you've got plenty of uni students who are more than willing to work the weekends, not paying me the penalty rates to work on a sunday/monday is saving the company more as a whole, especially when most public holidays tend to fall on a monday. and yet they can't make an allowance or an exception for this.
i don't know if this is a rant or not but it's been frustrating me for the past couple weeks. the final straw was that finding out i can't even drop down my hours in my own store even when they said it could've been a possibility.
