Here is my favorite song off of latest release from the stoner/doom metal band The Sword entitled "Warp Riders." This is a concept album based upon an original work of science fiction written by the bands lead guitarist and singer. If you liked Star Wars as a kid, and Metallica as an adult, you will probably dig this.
Edit: Found a better video. -
Wicked wicked video of a drive through Kingston's dilapidated neighborhoods with great music to go with the images.

Just saw the chainstiching vid. Such a well done video. Love that song (god's gonna cut you down).
Johnny Cash's version is my favorite but there is a rendition that Costanza did off an album called "Sonic Diary" Worth a listen.

Some Horace Andy with Sly & Robbie at Harry J studio, with Robbie coaching every one, from Sly to Dalton, then each musician says a little thing about himself. It was the last day of the sessions, we had recorded live in the studio about 20 songs in 2 days! Then Horace voiced them and the whole thing was wrapped up in a week. Talk about working fast!!!
PS = there are 17 videos of this album and they are nice, enjoy!

I'm a huge fan of Yoshida Brothers. They are bloody awesome.
got copies of a gouple of their albums a while back - but hadn't heard the first track . . . the funny thing is it was a conversation about banjos they came up (how the shamisen is played, sounds etc) . . . anyways this guy was the main topic - he can really play some

Jackie Edwards, a truly unsung hero of Jamaican music. I love this video, it shows how bare bone Reggae is when it is reduced to its essential form: drum, bass, organ, guitar and a singer with a badass voice and a nice little tune… The recording booth wall is lined with egg boxes, in a truly roots fashion, the mikes are rudimentary, everything is minimal, yet it works and it is truly wonderful. I love it.
And now, Delroy Wilson, one of the most soulful singers ever to emerge out of Jamaica
Shit, I could spend the whole day playing some of that…
