Anyone here play video games?

What do you think @Seul? Games pretty effin amazing if you ask me
-
It has pigs
It also looks amazing… Bit frustrating handling-wise, as always... But that's mainly cause I've been playing HORIZON DAWN the last couple of months... Which has razor sharp handling... It also has Aloy... I wished I could play RDR2 with Aloy instead of Arthur... ::)
Go into settings and turn the stick dead zone to 0 and set the acceleration to Maximum. Adjust the movement sensitivity up as much as you like.
I am traveling home to get laid off until January. I'm so stoked to play this game. I just wish it was on PC. But I will double dip when it comes out.

There's hoping they will port RDRII to PC - they did rather commendable job with GTAV, after all, late as it might have been.
In the meantime, I'm looking forward to Fallout '76 (and more importantly, free time to actually play it :-[).

I got a Fallout 76 PC beta code… I am going to try it. But so far the game looks like hot garbage. I am cautiously optimistic that it will ne more fun than it looks. But I watched an hour of the footage and it looked really boring. Also, I don't care for multiplayer. But I guess it could be fun. Also, the graphics looked really rough on Xbone. They are absolutely working on a PC version of RDR2. It won't be ready until at least 6 months from now, just like GTA5.

Actually I don't mind the boringness, I'm a big fan of the Fallout mythology and for me the modern Fallouts are at their best when just aimlessly wandering around the wasteland, discovering things. I was also very disappointed to hear this will be multiplayer but apparently, it still plays like a single player for the most part.
Do share your impressions when you take the beta out for a spin!

Oh God, the 3.63 GB patch downloaded in like 5 minutes (I have a cat. 5 plugged into the xbonex) but the disk install is taking forever. This is just the first disk. Those 4k texture files are massive. The game is almost a tenth of a terabyte.
The Steelbook is pretty sick. -

HL3… ehh, RDRII confirmed!
Thanks for sharing!

I wish this was real. I only liked Solid and Guns of the Patriots. The other ones moved a little too slow for me. Especially the Phantom Pain… the intro was so grueling to get through, crawling on the ground for a half an hour. Also I didn't care for Kieffer Sutherland's voice acting. David Hayter IS Snake.

Took less than an hour to instal RDR2 Having to change the discs throughout the process took me back to Metal Gear Solid on PS1, where you have to insert disc 2 after defeating Sniper Wolf…
Same…took me under an hour.
I remember that about Metal Gear. Do you remember the original Metal Gear on Nintendo? That's going way back...

Nice to see I'm not the only geek in here who ordered the Ultimate Edition @Filthy ;). That Steelbook is pretty sick.

The OG Metal Gear for Nintendo. Circa 1987 I believe.

I had a first gen GameBoy as well, rocked my world.
My very first console was called an Intellivision, most people have never heard of them. It was what you had if you weren't cool enough to get an Atari I guess… but I loved it. Then the original Nintendo came out and I was a Nintendo gamer at that point. I did switch over to a Sega Genesis when they came out and played that for years. 16 bit was a whole new level at that time. It's pretty much been Sony ever since although I did have a Nintendo 64 and my brother actually bought a Sega Dreamcast when those came out which was late 90's/early 2000's I believe? That was actually a very cool console for it's time and it is a bit underrated I think. IIRC it was the first console that allowed any type of online gaming.
