^ Video sent to us here in Thailand from Scooby Clinic Chesterfield UK. Post engine rebuild and install, car has just completed 500 miles of 1000 miles essential running in. Once running in completed it'll be time for engine mapping [emoji106]

I took a look at the new Suzuki Jimny today. It's a tiny 4x4, about the size of supermini, and looks like a Jeep that's been run through a very hot wash cycle.
Surprisingly, I could fit in it comfortably, and I'm 6'2" / 189 cm.
With the rear seats up, there's no luggage space. But there's a reasonable amount with them down, and it's a flat load area.
Unfortunately they're sold out until July. Even more unfortunately for American readers, it's not available in the States.

^cheers mate!!
it's amazing how the rims changed the look of it. handling now feels much planted with the wider rims and of course fresh rubber too.
i've had quite a few compliments around town today. with the debadge, people seem to be clueless what it actually is and was talking with them about future mods as well.

cheers piggy!

Good looking wheels. They look right and don’t scream AFTERMARKET.
If you know what I mean.

@louisbosco a quick email from Scooby Clinic Racing regarding our very recently mapped car . . . . "mapped yesterday on the SC 46 billet 8cm, made 470 BHP and that’s with a catted exhaust, so pretty good, we now have the latest all new SC46 billet + just released so we have swapped out the first turbo for this latest incarnation and are mapping it again, right now . . . . " More information to follow as we receive it [emoji16]

^ The replacement (new iteration) SC46 billet turbo spooled up quicker but produced less bhp at 440. The guys are expecting a turbo delivery from the USA this Friday that they will try in our car as they are hoping for 500bhp. If the 3rd turbo (from USA) doesn't produce the numbers then it'll be back to the first one. OMG we are so looking forward to collecting our car .

Spoiling up quicker is no bad thing…...

Agreed. I think the Scooby Clinic Racing guys are hoping the third turbo, coming from US on Friday, spools up quicker and reaches the 500bhp target.

i think it really depends on the way you want it to drive. spooling up quicker may be a good thing but it may catch you out mid corners. if you're really pushing 500 with a different turbo, the characteristics with the map might be different too.
are they all the same model 46/8 turbo, just different sets?

Yes they are:
The first turbo had an all new exhaust housing to reduce back pressure.
The second turbo (that spooled quicker) had a bigger housing with bigger turbine wheel.
The third turbo coming from the US has an aero upgrade which is all I know atm.

I was out ogling cars yesterday.
The Alpine A110 has recently arrived in Australia, and their only dealership in the country is just down the road from me, so it'd be rude not to take a look.
It's a little longer than an MX-5, but still a small car. There's a surprising amount of legroom and headroom, but luggage won't swallow more than a couple of carry on bags.
The BMW dealer had the M2 Competition in next door. Price and performance are broadly in line with the Alpine, and I do like the car a lot, but I'd go for the A110 instea.

@Graeme surely the mx-5 with the retractable hardtop. that car looks hell sexy. with a stage 1 turbo kit as well, it flies….

fair enough. overall what is it that you prefer? i kind like what you explained of the first turbo. seems more linear power delivery compared to the second even though it produced more. but 30-40hp on paper isn't going to make much difference in the real world..
