Cheer for P

@Max Power - Oh, he is so GORGEOUS! Hope we can meet up again soon
@twin and @Jett129 thanks for lovely pics, here are a few of our garden I took a couple of evenings ago - the spring colours (wonderful tulips, magnolias and flowering cherries) are pretty much over now, but summer is starting to kick in with the peonies and roses, it's just lovely! The lawn is looking a bit grim, we need to feed and work on it, but otherwise feeling thrilled with the garden this year.

Lovely gardens @Madame Buttonfly The Golden chain tree is beautiful
-
Thanks @twin - that lovely tree was a gift for Giles's 50th from my sister and her husband
-
My roses are off to a good start this year.
-
Have a cheerful Sunday @Madame Buttonfly AKA Paula.

Lilly blooming profusely since repotted in Feb./Mar.

Beautiful roses ROman.
-
Thanks mikebarhoot. Lilly looks good as well.
-
Beautiful roses @ROman, and a wonderful variety - @twin the water lily is clearly loving its new home! We've so many peonies and roses in bloom at the moment, I'm looking forward to the weekend - my sister is visiting and I should be able to put some lovely vases of garden flowers around the house and in her room. Yes, getting excited about stuff like this is a clear sign I'm definitely getting old!
-
What a wonderful garden @rocket - where were you?
-
Beautiful, @rocket!

Not that I am complaining at all, because anyone who knows me, will know that I love flowers and gardening and spend far too much of my disposable income on the garden. But this thread really is just an excuse for grown men to pretend that the only reason they are taking photos of pretty flowers is to cheer Paula up

@Madame Buttonfly was in the botanical garden "Palmengarten" in Frankfurt on the weekend.
it's a very nice park @steelworker
