Epicfaff…
Ok bit of text coming up... Last week, the 25th to be specific, I vowed to me mate that we'd share a bottle of Zenne Y Frontera before the end of the year... Tuesday we popped my Batch 92...
This Zenne y Frontera is a blend of eleven different sherry barrels - ten Oloroso barrels and one Amontillado barrel. The Oloroso bar-rels were more than fourty years old. The lambics originate from four different brews and were all a good year old when filling the sherry barrels. Accordingly, the weighted average age upon bottling was a tad more than 25 months. 100% 3 Fonteinen.
Nope… Read that again... Seriously: the amount of work that goes into one fucking bottling is amazeballs. To be able to drink this "local" (made 50 miles from me) sour, and the depth of what is a 6.5% beer is, again, amazeballs.
My mate deemd it too young, too fresh... The sherry didn't really shine through... Think he was right... Well I guess we'll see next year, when I open my bach 93

Cheers, scooter…
Have a great end of the year, and stay away from hard seltzers...Cheers to you, as well, Eli. And, cheers to what will hopefully be a much better year than this…
Cheers everyone. Happy New Year. Just opened this one in honor of Eli. Not as fancy as the vintage he recently posted. My first 3F. Stumbled upon it visiting the in-laws. It’s fantastic.
