IH-805 - 21oz Indigo Selvedge Denim Double Knee Overalls
-
I saw this image today and I need to start rocking the look of the guy left of MLKjr. I need to get my overalls repaired, so I can start wearing them again

I forget how much wear time I have on this pair. I gave my smaller pair to my cousin who died of Leukemia last year. I think they got passed on to his son. I doubt they realize what they have.
If you have an opportunity to get a pair of these I certainly would. They are so heavy and soft and comfy. I machine washed them once so they will be ready when it is my turn to get them repaired.
Probably 5 or so hand washes, 1 machine wash.
^TFH Wild Child wallet fade.
Heading for a blowout. Also I have been looking for this family heirloom handkerchief that belonged to my grandfather. It was in the back pocket.

I am sending to @Chesson to fix for me as soon as it is my turn. So you can do your thing when you get them.
-
Nice work Mike! Ended up scrolling thru this whole thread after seeing your pair. Didn't help the want factor ::)
-
Those would be right up your alley, I think My older pair was even more beat up than these are.

Any shots of your older pair?
Hoping to achieve a similar fit to @Lindsey & the girl they have modeling these on the jp site. Just gotta wait for size 30 to be restocked

No sorry. That was like 3 or 4 phones ago. I don't back anything up and I don't do any social media anymore. So all of that is gone… sorry. This is as social as I get now.
-
no worries dude. your current pair looks great. can't wait to see how they look in another few yrs
-
@tfahey00 I'd say you'd be good with a 36. But I guess that depends on how you want them to fit. I've had 36 and 38 and I am pretty chubby and have massive legs.
Plus you'll be waiting until next year if you wanted a 38 because both 38 pairs sold. Unless G can get you a pair from Japan. They only seem to come in stock once a year.

Yeah that’s what I was expecting… I am a little chubby but the top block was always my main concern because I too have big legs... because, as you know, one may NOT skip leg day [emoji23]

@Filthy – You're killing me dude. I'm gonna need to re-prioritize my WTB list or get a wealthy benefactor.
-
LMAO I convinced someone else they needed these today besides you.
TRUST ME… YOU DO, IN FACT, NEED THEM.
They will blow you away and you won't be disappointed. I almost bought a 3rd pair last week but I didn't want to be greedy. So I let someone else have my pair.
-
One excellent thing about them besides them being Godlike is that they have a zipper fly… for those times when you really have to pee and dont have time to fumble with buttons.
-
Plus, like they have lined pockets even on the front and the double knees are like 42 oz.s of crazy soft, supple, and beautiful IH signature 21 oz denim… @henry_david
They couldn't possibly be any more awesome.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Let me tell you – more than once I very nearly, uh, had to rinse my denim sooner than I wanted due to some button issues on new denim…
Yeah, I've got a WTB of seven IH items (not to mention stuff from The Real McCoy's and GPWW – damn you @Brock). I'm gonna get these over the IH-634-142 I was considering for the sole purpose of cycling/strenuous activity. These are very special and just… They're beautiful man. I love the double front vibes and know that the 21oz is insanely comfy. I just put on an older pair of IH-634S that have the beginnings of a blowout and realized that I'd forgotten just how soft those things get after a couple of washes/rinses. They felt like sweatpants that were made custom for me. Anyway, needless to say, I'm gonna cop these in the next month or so when I have a bit more $$.
@Filthy – I wear a 34" in IH-634S and a 33" in IH-634-XHS. Would that mean I should snag the 34" in these? Also, I do happen to have a 35" inseam and see that these run about 34"?
-
Yes, I think a 34 would be fine… they are supposed to be roomy and comfortable. Not tight and slim fitting. And I wouldn't worry about the inseam because you can just let the straps out a little. For example, I have a 30 inch inseam and I have these cuffed about 27.5 inches because I have the straps longer.
