@Boyo lol naw, they are pretty baggy on me, just washed and dried like crazy and I'm the second owner.
I didn't mean to come off rudely, I thought you had recently picked these up and had gotten the wrong size… with the angle of the photo it looks as if the waist is wider than your shoulders... I guess its like taking a photo of a just caught fish where you extend your arm towards the camera to make the fish look bigger than it is...

@Boyo i didn't take it as rude, I just figured you meant they shrunk smaller than tag size lol and yes, all about the angle.

Roy finally sold and shipped off his machines so it looks like he may be out of the business. As people on the Forum probably know, I have always been a huge fan of the work and the story. The sewing skills are just so top-notch.
I recently sold two pairs of jeans that were too small for me, but I am happy to still have the following:
Old School Jeans
Original Ducks
Black and Blue Ducks
Denim Shirt
Portland Shirt
Baja Shirt
Black Chambray Short Sleeve -
That Baja SS shirt is wonderful!

Roy's out? Anybody got any back story on this development?

@zhivago – there was a post on his IG sometime last month (?) with a little slideshow of him loading his stuff up. From what I've gathered, the space he's been in since he started is being torn down/sold and he took that as a sign to move on. I know that Heddel's had a little thing on its site earlier this week to that effect. Don't know any more than that. If I'm wrong at all or there's more to the story, I'd love to hear from others. As someone who lives in the Bay Area, I've been proud to have Roy over in Oakland and rad denim outposts like SESF and Standard & Strange around here. Sorry to see him bow out. Just curious as to who he sold his machines to and what their plans might be.

Right on @henry_david. That seems pretty reasonable. I was in Northern CA for many many years and felt the same. Sad to see him stepping out but hopefully it's what is best for Roy and someone else will pick up with where he is leaving off. I am glad I was able to grab some of his wares over the years, always felt like lots of soul in each piece. Thanks for the explanation!!
