Hard Drinkers, Lets Drink Hard (Spirits, Liquors and Cocktails)

@Cutlasshound I love rum, have worked my way through a good number. My 5 Yr old son bought this for me for Christmas… Well, his name was on the label! This is the world's 1st carbon NEGATIVE rum, and distilled completely in the UK. It is very good
Interesting! Will have to give it a try. Many thanks indeed for the tip.
My rum supplies were destroyed at one point after two mates came around and I discovered that one of my oldest friends doesn’t appear to understand what ratios are. My rum stock was destroyed.
Thankfully this Christmas saw me pick up about four or five bottles (also, if not had it, Ron Zacapa 23 is significantly cheaper on Amazon at the moment. Certainly my favourite rum). Covid has seen my home alcohol consumption increase (nothing excessive, just a simple function that if I fancy a drink I have it at home) so having a few different ones on rotation is a great shout.

I got some more of this apple brandy. Although I got the cheaper stuff this time. This all natural cranberry juice is super sour though. Tastes almost like lemon juice.

There's 5 1 oz shots in the Mule and it's so sweet and smooth. It's blowing my mind.
-
*there's only 2. The other shots weren't booze.

@Filthy Try to find their Bonded Straight Apple Brandy, it's the best version. I find it has more apple flavor than the fancy one, even if it's not quite as smooth. Plus it's 100% brandy from apples (pretty sure their applejack product is a mix of brandy, grain alcohol, and flavor), if you care about that sort of thing.
Edited to add: maybe I've already posted about this before? Anyway, I love this stuff and keep it on the bar so I don't mind crowing about it repeatedly. Try it in place of whiskey in dark cocktails like a Manhattan.

Hellyeah! I will keep that in mind. I could go for some now. I am still hung over from yesterday though.

That's why god gave us coffee and amaretto (my favorite is Lazzaroni)

Can I please come to your house and root around in the liquor cabinet?
-
I had to special order it from the liquor store… but if you want to take a risk I can get you a bottle and mail it to you. I can remove the labels and or sew it inside a cheap stuffed animal or some foam rubber or something... and box it up.

Brother, I love you!!! Our border is insanely efficient at finding that kind of stuff. It would probably never work.
My parents live close by (WV) and I need to make a trip home. Are you closer to Pittsburg or Philly? If I can travel, I would love to have a beer and a slice with you (or maybe two :D).
It will be awhile, as Canada doesn’t want to open our border.

@goosehd yeah those customs bastards shakes fist they tried making me pay tax on 5 cartons of smokes one time there at the airport. And I told them to keep them and the dude took 2 cartons for himself and handed me the other 3. It was one of those things from the duty free that looks like a giant pack of Marlboros.
I live in Pittsburgh. Like about an hour away from Wheeling VW.
-
Yeah that's a bummer for sure.

Be my guest. I do liquor cabinets like some here do closets, so…I have enough to share. (Note the square dowel needed to keep the top shelf from collapsing)

We can do a reenactment of Leaving Las Vegas with all that booze… ???
-
So at Xmas I downed a bottle of cheap silver tequila in a cask I never cured.
Today, I sampled it…
How it began: on right
How it’s going: left

Keeping it simple with the greatest widely available run that there is.
