Merz beim Schwanen

@Filthy how does the striped tee fit? I’ve been eyeing it for a long time.
-
@Palmer super soft and dense. It's very nice. The best thing about the shirts are the fit and the larger neck… Like easily $120 nice. @popvulture has one too.

I have a few of their henleys and an army green t shirt from them that I love. I enjoy how the inside of the shirts feels extremely soft.

Pics please 🥺

@Filthy Here you go.
Merz really makes some amazing basics. You can feel the difference as soon you touch the fabric. I might have to pull the trigger on that striped number now…

@Palmer wow those are awesome. Thanks. My condolences to your wallet.

You've been a bad influence on me lately!

sorry pal

Lookin good Mike!!!
I’m jealous of that shirt. My favorite Merz Henley got a hole from getting closed in my wardrobe against the hinge
How warm are they, being wool??

Not warm at all because the structure is so airy and open. @Appfaff
Also it is super luxuriously soft since a cold wash.

I tried now several of their long sleeve henlyes and just about none did properly fit, sizing between 5 and 6 or M and L
I love the fabric and the feel to their shirts, but they either fit skin tight, or remind me of my oversized hip hop tall tees I was wearing in the 90ies with a neck opening a cow would fit through…
Any real life shrinking measurements available?
Guess I might have to stick with the shirts from berry on the drums, great shirts as well. -
I have found Self Edge’s disclaimer of them shrinking 1/2 a size is pretty accurate. However, I can run a warm steam iron over them after they hang dry and they are essentially back to raw size.

I slept in my wool shirt last night and it is indeed very comfortable. I'd put it at the same weight as a Gildan Featherweight ringspun tee. I don't know if you've ever had a pair of Darn Tough lightweight socks but the wool is very soft and smooth like those are. It feels almost like polyester, rather than wool.. Feels like wearing nothing at all!

I have a couple of tees from Duckworth @Filthy and love them. Just like your description.

Yeah @Filthy gotta say I looove these shirts, esp the Henley. I’ll be getting more. Very hooked.

I have two items from their store in my cart and I had to pause and think, "do I really need $400 worth more of t-shirts?"
@steelworker I will have to check out duckworth, but I am reluctant to for the above reason. Thanks though ️Also, looking good Mr. Pfaff

I took @Palmer 's advice and copped a Merz B henley. It's so nice!! Love the mother of pearl buttons and the knit cuffs on the henley. The stripes are sick too. Also I splurged and got one of those sea island cotton t-shirts. It is unbelievable how soft it is. I would have bought it when I was at Self Edge but they didn't have my size.
