You’re just more fatass than me Mike!
Maybe so? I saw G talking about not wearing UHR in New York City in the summer and didn't mind at all.

XHS in 75° F in 55% humidity in LA… About to go to Texas where it's gonna be 80° F and 80% humidity and def still wanna wear my XHS but not sure rn. Also there's a reason I'm posting in this thread specifically: the overalls will be here Friday! I won't be (I'll be in Texas) but I'll be slipping them on when back on Sunday.
-
If yer lucky it’ll be 80/80 in TX this weekend.
You’ll need the XHS to protect against the state bird (mosquito) tho. With all the rain we’ve had. Swarming like a MFr
-
Where in TX ya visiting? DM if you dont want it public. Telling me to FO also works if you dont want me to know. Lol
-
I didn't even think of the mosquitoes, @mikebarhoot And I'll be just a bit outside of Dallas proper to see my folks

Got em today. I say this all the time but the shipping speed is unbelievable. They shipped on Wednesday and are at my door here near Toronto on Friday. They are amazing. Really happy with these. The only thing I may do is get my tailor to extend the denim straps a few inches. There is plenty of room in the waist and gut but they ride just a little too high in the crotch with the straps all the way adjusted as far as they go. I may just wait a little. Im thinking the straps may stretch a bit. Anyone notice if the straps stretch?
-
They might stretch a quarter to half an inch. But you should be able to move the buckles way down to meet the clasp where it buttons in both directions.
-
thanks @Filthy Ive got the buckles all the way as far as they will go. There is the minimum amount of strap left that will make the buckle still work. I will take another look at it though. Either way it wont be a tough job to add more denim to the strap.
-
Thanks a million @Giles. Great excuse to buy more stuff!
-
If I do end up taking these to the tailor I also may have him put some pockets on the inside of the top part of the bib. Have the pockets sort of upside down when the bibs are up, but if it’s hot and you have the straps off your shoulder the bib part would be folded over and then the pockets would be right side up and facing out if that makes sense.
-
Hmmmm. Good Art Hollywood should make extenders. Lol. Allegedly.
Or Steel Flame.
Or Starlingear.
Or….

Clever mod there @deanclean

I came here via a r/rawdenim thread and I can't believe i went through all the posts in this thread :p
I don't think I could wear these on a regular basis. They've definitely grown on me a little, but I don't know if I could ever pull the trigger.
Never say never, I suppose.

@iamjustdanny Iron Heart has a generous "no quibble" return policy. So you can get them, and try them on. If you don't like them you are free to return them… I am sure you will like them though.

Looking for a wee bit of help with sizing from the Bib Boyz. I'm a 34 in both the 634 and 888 cuts, and due to having fairly mega thighs both fit fairly snug up top on both, i.e. the 888s are a pretty slim fit on me, but fit like a glove. So I'm thinking I would go for a 36 in these for a bit of extra thigh room, as the 34 is slightly smaller on the thigh than the 888 as I definitely want something more relaxed in the thigh, just a bit concerned that the oversized waist in these might make em a bit ridiculous. What do we think?
-
@iamjustdanny – Welcome dude! Glad to see you here. I'll be posting some fade updates when I can rival what Mike does to his
@LewisStonehouse – I wear a tagged 34" in the 634 and need every last bit of the thigh space. I went with a tagged 34" with these and I actually have room in the thigh to spare. The 634 fit me like a slim straight and these fit me like a true straight leg. The 40" waist on the 34" still allows me to put on a heavy sweater under the bib. Any input on that, @Filthy (a.k.a., our resident bib prez)?
