Do you guys believe in angels, or?

Oh no. It worked. [emoji23]
+1 - the squiffy machine translations often tickle me
I think it is because Japanese characters are phonetic and those two words closely resemble the word selvedge. I have seen this translation in a few places. Kind of a funny coincidence.

Is there a "what shirt is this?" or "what jacket is this?" thread?
There is a «guess the shirt» thread but that was meant for nerdy fun.
Up until now people have used the Extinct section combined with the site search engine and worked it out themselves. Only in very peculiar instances (very old products, rare/Japan only products, possible fakes etc), have people needed to ask «the cloud».
That being said, if there is a need for it we could definitely have one. The product range is huge, the Extinct section is not complete, the total number of products now run into the 1000’s and there are people here who will think this is fun (like me).
I’ll put one together later today.
@neph93 I think this will be very fun. I love nerding out on all things IH and helping people identify stuff is fun too. Ive read through every UHF thread some multiple times geeking out on the small differences, could probably be some help haha.

Whenever I check out on the website there’s usually a few random pence either more or less than the round number on the product page. Doesn’t bother me in the slightest, just interested as to why that is? Assume the website is based on USD and the price in GBP is a live conversion based on exchange rates?
-
@Giles thank you. On the most recent UHF I’ve picked up it came out as £298.43 vs £298 on the product page. Again I couldn’t care less about a few pence, but if it’s important your end that the figure calculated at the cart is lower than on the product page, that isn’t always the case

Anybody ever put Armor-all on their horsehide jackets to bring that sheen back? Seems like Fine Creek used something similar.

I have a question about chainstitch hemming. I noticed that the pair of 634-XHS that I had hemmed by Franklin and Poe is different from the hems that IHUK and Indigo Proof have done for me. On the pair from Franklin and Poe the stitching goes down to one thread across the inseam and the others don't.
Is this a difference in technique or should I have these re-hemmed? It seems like with wear the hem will start to unravel. Pardon my ignorance!
Here is a photo of what I'm talking about. The top pair is the XHS from F&P and the bottom is from IHUK.

@Palmer certainly looks like they haven’t gone all the way round to me, but I may be wrong. Have you sent them a picture and raised your concerns? If it were me I’d do that, probably wear them and see if they come unravelled, if so get them rehemmed, if not no problem

@palmer These need to be rehemmed. Please bring them back (or email us for shipping info) and we'll get them right for you. Sorry about that.

How often do UHF’s or 9oz flannels come standard with mother of pearl snaps or white melamine buttons? Any planned ?
