Beautiful weather to ride all weekend and I was stuck demolishing a deck. Going to see if I can get an inspection this week so I can stop riding dirty
-
Buddy with a better phone camera than mine took this b&w pic of my bike tonight. Thought it was pretty cool.
-
Heading up to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia today
-
Have a great trip @louisbosco ! Share a video of the twisties!
-
@motojobobo testing with music. let me know if anyone likes to hear raw footage. just a teaser, plenty of footage to go through
-
@louisbosco I love that you’re experimenting with this…music, no music…just have fun and share! I think it’s awesome
-
cheers mate @goosehd might do another one without
-
@louisbosco If you get a chance, can you take a picture of this camera setup on your bike? For the life of me, I can’t figure out where you have the camera mounted to get the perspectives that you are getting.
I saw one video where a guy mounted his on the swing arm and it looked like someone was riding beside him filming.
-
@goosehd this might help. took it a week ago after I detailed the bike. handle bar mount for me. perks of having a naked bike that doesn't half clip-ons..
that said the motorcycle mount kit comes with all sorts, including adhesive clips for mounting..
-
no worries mate.
the 360 lens will record a 360 view at all time. it doesn't matter if you set it front or rear when you start recording. the magic is when you review the footage, it allows you to edit where you wanna view, set keyframes to rotate or track items in the direction as you want the camera to do so. you will be allowed to view 360 view for the duration of your recording and choose the set parameters you wanna export.
I mean we're talking auto panning in/out, fisheye 360/ tiny planet that you're on top of the world kinda views. think of it as your personal google street view.
-
realistically, you're only working with 10mins of total useable footage from a 1-2hr clip. so essentially, maybe 200-300mb per 2 min videos, which is pretty standard. with that being said, 15 -20gb of 30min - 1hr footage isn't too bad, considering it's 4k 60fps.
micro sd cards are getting cheaper by the year so it's not too bad overall.
-
I've found this little niggle with the camera where if your battery dies while you're recording. the file becomes corrupt as it isn't able to properly save the gyro data. bit of a hassle when you're not paying attention to the camera while you're doing long recordings.

Really excited! Finally got my 2022 Triumph Street Twin today. Man I love this bike. It’s so smooth and super torquey at lower RPMs. It’s a hell of an upgrade from my old KLR 650. Perfect mix of modern and classic
-
Sweet ride @Choko ! And a huge change from your KLR. Do you plan to keep her as is? I usually change very few things on my bikes. Enjoy it in good health!
-
@Choko welcome to the triumph club. enjoy the journey..
