@EdH artist got about halfway in before we got it it being my first tattoo during conversation, she laughed and said had her first been in the elbow ditch, she wouldn't have gotten another
She only wrapped it in seran at first and didn't put the dermalize or other sheet stuff it because she suspected all the movement in that location would pop it off. I've been pretty diligent about trying to keep my arm straight when possible and hitting it with ooent and keeping it clean. Seems to be healing up pretty well so far.
I'm sure another is on the horizon, shop's books don't open back up before the end of the year, I'm thinking something with a bit of color, though maybe one arm color, the other B&W -
@Joberwocky a man after my own heart - my existing sleeve is B&W linework (though I may colour it in down the line…) but the right arm is going to be full of popping colour. Unfortunately my guy's books are such that I have to wait until January to get started too, and couldn't get a full day with him until June! Still, that's a good sign, I'd stick with that shop if I were you.
Glad your healing is going well, I look forward to seeing the end result. (And your next one... and the next... ;))

I'm about to go in for a 5-6 hour session for my upper arm to completely black it out. I had my lower arm done a few months ago and it was brutally painful. The artist uses a 39 mag which means 39 needles that amount to half an inch in width. I'm so nervous and terrified lmao but we did my elbow ditch last time which was the worst part. I'm not looking forward to the shoulder and near armpit or the elbow. Wish me luck pls…
Also I got two blast overs yesterday. Halloween themed.

Diggin this thread!! I love to travel and have got almost all my work done in the other countries i've traveled to. Since Covid, obviously that has been curtailed. Now that things are basically opened back up in most places, we've got a trip to Italy planned next summer! Been in talks with a few shops in Rome already. Found some incredible artists there!! Can't wait to get some work done! It's been about 4 years since I've gone under the gun!!!

@Oaktavia BRO!!! That pit of the elbow…phew....making me sweat just thinking about it haha...39 mag!! Yee Gatz!! No pain no gain!! When I had my left arm sleeve done the pit of the arm was the hardest for me. Even the inside of the forearm was brutal...
I had my ribs done on my last travels to India. I almost grabbed that tattooer by the throat and screamed, "I hate you, you fucking whore!!!"
Other than that, I love getting worked on hahaha

My two favorite feelings are looking forward to a tat on tat days and immediately after the last stab. The time in between sucks ass.
This lmao
That come out dope!!! I dig how the black wraps around the sunflower at you wrist!!
My sleeve is so dark and thick. One day it will probably end up looking like black out.
Thanks man I'm really happy with how it turned out. So glad the hard part is over. Have you posted photos of.you sleeve(s?) on here?

@octavia did you just grow tired of how your arm was, or is there more to it?

Looks like I missed all the fun last month. Fucking hell @Oaktavia that looked brutal…
Amazingly solid though.
