Third World "Try Jah Love". I have produced a live album by this great wicked group, as well as solo albums for Cat Coore (the guitarist) and Bunny Rugs (the lead singer). They are great musicians, superb performers and super to hang out with. Cat's father, David Coore, was Jamaica's Minister of Finance in the 70's and wrote Jamaica's constitution. Cat's son, Shiah, plays bass and produces Damian Marley. Rugs is a pure ghetto man, who recorded for Lee Perry, moved to NY, drove taxi cabs, did interior decoration and so forth in New York, prior to joining Third World.

Probably one of the top 10 bass lines in the history of music (and I'm exaggerating only sly-tly): Sly & Robbie "Boops"

After the master Lee Perry, his apprentice Bob Marley. I so fucking LOVE this song, and the live version is just making my hair stand every time I hear it…

download this mixtape if you like R&B. this guy is going places FAST! his name (currently) is Frank Ocean. he used to go under the pseudonym Lonny Breaux, hence the name of the collection. Its really a collection of a ton of old songs of his, but they sound just as good as his new songs! Frank Ocean is also part of the collective OFWGKTA (odd future wolf gang kill them all) and they have been killing it recently too ((some of you here might already be very tired of them, but you wont get tired of this guy, he's the fuckin sauce))
