Jett129 Yup, and honestly I’ve got a pretty good backlog of 25oz to work through. But seeing how these wear my FOMO is setting in[emoji23]

…@Oaktavia those pics make me happy to have both the 777 and 888-XHSBB cuts!
...BB has a really unique way of evolving, cool stuff!

Hell yeah brother, super stoked I chose this denim for my first real black pair of raws. XHS really is king.
-
@Oaktavia How long did they go unwashed? The pics look epic. May be it is the way this denim fades? Looks muted but the contrast is clearly visible.
-
@the246guy I soaked them with detergent in a tub two or three times over five months and machine washed them the other day. Muted contrast is a good way to put it, though I see bright whites on the horizon.
-
@Oaktavia love your dedication to this denim. Your pair looks great man! Must feel great putting these on after a wash
-
@RoxRocks86 Yo! Thanks dude! It certainly did feel awesome…makes me want to wash 'em more LOL but all in good time. Hope you have been well. I was watching a show called Meat Eater about hunting goats on the Big Island in your neck of the woods. Spear fishing too. It was really cool. I had no idea that livestock roams the island(s?), super interesting.

Yeah I’m pretty sure the XHSbb, at least for now, should be considered a one time thang unfortunately. I actually think it’s the best black denim ever so would support a re-run, but we all know how it is
-
Sick shot of the evo man @Oaktavia! Love how hard you’ve been going on these
As for wild game on the islands - yeah when it comes to land animals there’s deer, boars, sheep, goats, free range chickens left and right, & prob other animals I’m unaware of. It’s not uncommon to get some fresh catch (land/sea) from a friend or family member who hunts or fishes. Def beats all the imported stuff in the grocery stores that’s for sure.

May be I was wrong. That new picture above shows high contrast fades going on. Looks like more to come!

I had no idea that was the case but it makes sense when I think about it. That is super cool though I would love that type of opportunity.

Well my backlog of 25oz increased. Sized up and the measurements actually worked out well! Should be here later this week
