With this ‘stache it doesn’t matter what you wear to be honest
Without it I look like Homer Simpson (weird overbite). My beard, on the other hand, isn't particularly dense and just looks a bit neck-beardy or mad-mullah (maybe unsurprisingly given my middle eastern heritage).
Looks good
Thanks! I would normally wear it zipped up anyway, which I think is the better 'look' for this on me.

In my opinion it’s exactly like you said..
For wearing it with just a t-shirt a size M would look better.
For layering over a UHF it’s perfect
So you have to decide how you want to wear it mostly
Beside the size question this hoodie looks awesomeYeah, layering is definitely more versatile. I'm wondering if a M wouldn't also suit being layered though, as it is a stretchier fabric than most outerwear…
It's a close run thing.

@EdH just to reiterate what others have said regarding the sizing it's going to depend on how you want to wear it. If you bought it to layer over a T and an UHF then the size you got is perfect IMO. However I think you should definitely size down if you are just wearing it over a long or short sleeve T shirt.
Personally I size down on my IH hoodies….I'm an XL workshirt/UHF and I take a Large in these hoodies but I only wear them over a T shirt. I don't buy my hoodies to layer over an UHF or anything thicker than a T...works best for my climate.

I agree. I size my hoodies and thermals one down from my UHF sizing.
Don't get me wrong, it doesn't look bad. If you're going for a cozy fit, spot-on. If you want a more trim fit, you could size down if you're only going to wear it over a single layer (T-shirt, thermal).

thanks for the wisdom @manufc10 and @Paul9221 - I haven't cut the tag off yet and am going back and forth. I'm thinking that having the L would make it more versatile as I could wear it over UHFs, jumpers, etc, but I'd also like to see what an M fitted like over the top of a UHF…
V tempted to order the M too while there is loads of stock and compare them in person. Bank balance could probably handle it this early in the month...

Why not order a M and return the one that you like the least? If you're anything like me and miss the M, you're going to forever wonder if you should have sized down.

Yep, Medium was the way to go in this hoodie for me. Comfy over a tee, snug (but not tight) over a UHF, but importantly (and I completely forgot about this consideration the other day) snug enough to allow further layering on top of the hoodie when it’s really cold.
So basically my sizing is as follows: Tees: XL, UHFs: L, Hoodies: M. At this rate I’ll be a Small in any jackets!
-
Agreed. The Medium looks much better.
-
Thanks both.
Now I just need to figure out how to stop the Missus from ‘adopting’ this one…
-
@Jordan23 What size is that? Looks good
-
XL looks good on you!
