The Tanker Waist Bag can be worn as either a crossbody or waist bag. A 2” adjustable taped nylon strap with a central buckle allows for easy transition between the two wear options. The main compartment is secured with a duel heavy-duty brass zip and houses two internal half-width sleeve pockets. An inner zip pocket provides further storage along with two small Velcro
closure pockets at each end of the strap.The Tanker series of bags from Porter - Yoshida & Co. utilizes the brand's iconic three-layer construction. A nylon twill shell with a polyester/cotton fill, and nylon taffeta lining. Providing the quintessential ingredients for a hardwearing and protective luggage item.

Picked this up (elsewhere) recently in iron blue and I’m really impressed with the fabric and build quality. The fabric is super smooth and glides effortlessly but tough and durable at the same time. It’s kinda like good jeans, you can’t stop rubbing it. Well thought out pockets and comes with a couple dust bags / liner bags. Big enough for a water bottle, deck of cards, and ultra light rain jacket or umbrella - whatever I need for a day of walking around when traveling. I was on the fence between this and the smaller rectangular one and chose this to have extra space.

I have a couple of the porter bags from the Tanker range and you are spot on. Fabric and construction are truly exceptional!

Thanks @Cutlasshound me too. I actually thought it was black when I bought it. Realized it was blue when I started studying my photo and the Sonder website. Good discovery though, looks great with jeans.
