IH-1955S

Well, the 634S is based loosely on a '66 cut, but there all sorts of subtle changes; size and placement of pockets etc. Haraki may take a concept or design and modify it or Harakify it, but he does not get turned on by being given an existing pair of jeans and being asked to copy it. That does not get his creative juices going - which is good. having said that, I have had a lot of requests for a 55 cut in the 21oz selvedge and that compounded by a specific request from a retailer made me bite the bullet.

I know I'm of the minority but I like the A. Can't wait for more press on these to roll out.

I am completely with Haraki on this one…
nope, IH has never been a repro in terms of cut. Basically - the only thing that would qualify them for the title is manufacturing standards
It is a well known fact 55's are the greatest cut ever, but hey, the future shall decide 55's cut or beatle busters, but I'm pretty sure these will be the biggest selling jeans for IH

They're going to have a long way to go before they'll catch up to the 634. A very long way.

Great fit on these, Giles. One of your best so far. (I beg to differ on the"fact" that the "55 is the best cut ever", though :P)
The Arcs are nice, too. Is a (maybe non-red) tab impossible due to possible law suits? seems to be no big issue lately.
