Redline Rally Y2

AAHHh, I see what you mean here. Indeed, certainly not noticeable unless you are really looking but, of course, that's sort of the point of a fade comp. At least a soak won't hurt anything so go for it if it will give you peace of mind.
I've been starting to wear my stuff after a soak while still damp. I scoffed at the idea in the past but have found it really sets the creases of my body in the garment, especially in my less than 1-year-old items.
You've chosen a great piece–can't wait to see the evo!

Good luck to everyone. I am sadly not wearing an IH piece for the rally. I am wear a 14.25 Oz Free Note Cloth trucker jacket in a black x Grey denim.

@pmadison95 I decided to enter another piece beside my IH Wabash and went with a Freenote trucker (the indigo version). It's supposed to arrive tomorrow. Certainly looks like a quality piece!
-
@Salted Racer I think you will be happy with yours. I like mine a lot so far. Happy Fading!
-
@Oaktavia Lefty is a beast compared to my 19L OD guessing it’s going to take a while to break this bad boy in?
Is yours soft yet ?It's really is a beast. It took a long time to break mine in and it is still not what I would call soft. It's texture is still pretty rough but not as beastly as it once was.

seems like the slubby od is a super fader , blue shades everywhere. around 10 or 12 hours wear and a initial wash to get rid of the folding creases on sleeves.
-
Wow–nice start on that!
-
looks pretty different after wash
-
@Daniel San Go on mate it’s going to look sick , did the soak get rid of the sleeve folds?
I’ve noticed the same with mine when mine was drying I ramped towels down each sleeve to try and get rid of it
Still slightly noticeable hopefully that just goes in time .. -
@Jcaz6996
Hey James, yes completely gone
soaked it for around half an hour and then washing machine for 2,5 hours ( 30 degrees) without spinning.
no ironing needed, guess because it’s just 16oz .
unbelievable how the blue shines trough already, this is gonna be awesome I guess.
put it on when still damp to set creases, looks pretty good

@Daniel San those macro pics look very good buddy! Nice work!

Yeah looking around at the FB posts and on here as well–a lot of IH entries it should be called the Iron-line Rally at this point!
