IHSB-WJ - Iron Heart x Simmons Bilt Dark Brown Blattwerk Work Jacket

I’m still on the fence about the sleeves, but overall extremely happy.
What exactly are you on the fence about?
They are definetly not to long. With wear the sleeves will build some greases and they will shorten a bit, so they look perfect for me. But I prefere my leather jacket sleeves to be a bit longer, so they do not ride up so much when I lift my arms up.
I was concerned they might be too long, but wasn’t sweating it too much for the very reason you mention. [emoji1417]

Thank you kindly AdamC.
I like everything about this leather jacket. I should mention the moleskin hand warmer pockets are smooth, cozy, and warm. Excellent touch.

Anyone handled or own the IHJ-54 or IHJ-35 in addition to this jacket? I know the difference in quality of leather is likely in favor of the IHJ-54 has those action bi-swing action (gussets?). I could see myself enjoying this Simmons Bilt jacket if it were a lighter, springtime type jacket which is easy and casual to throw on. Either of the Japanese built jackets look a little bit more like tanks… but the leather ranges between 1.2 and 1.6 mm so it can't be that bad... Anyone owning both surprised that they reach for the lesser expensive Simmons more often than either the IHJ-54.
The IHJ-54 would probably be an XXL for me just as nearly every IH shirt fits me as an XXL. This Simmons jacket looks like it's been sized very large and I'd probably need a Large.
Just curious what people's perspectives are.

BrianA I own the three jackets you're comparing and they are all fantastic. The way I see it: Wear them open over a T and it's a spring jacket and zip it up over a sweat or flannel and it's a winter jacket.
However I haven't actually reached for any of them this winter as I have been trying to stick to my IHJ-77 indigo serge work jacket until it shows some decent wear. This is a nice spring jacket for sure, although extinct.
