THE CLADDAGH RING
-
@pechelman This is a beautiful piece in the flesh. I wear a large in this ring and the fit is perfect, sorry I can’t compare as I don’t wear any other rings. The design is quite clever in that it allows the heart to be worn comfortably in either direction as is tradition - seems to be more of an ‘oval’ fit to allow for this (see pic). Worth noting the inscription got dropped in production and replaced with GAH instead.

@pechelman Do you mean this measurement?
-
@pechelman OK, that measurement is 27mm.
This is my only ring, so I can't compare it to anything I'm afraid.
Mine is a size 8, I have fairly skinny figures and it fits perfect. -
Almost two years of looking at this, finally got one. While this got offered too late to get here by St Patrick's, likely for the model 10 drop, it still got here in March. Decided to go for the size large after a bit of debate and help from Sunme. Having the large on hand I am curious how a small would wear.
Unsure if mine is a new version or not, it's marked with V2 and 1224, but they may have updated the design of the band a little from what is shown online. It's a bit more asymmetric with a dog leg that really only makes wearing the ring comfortable in the "I'm single" direction with the heart pointing outward. Also the inscription is still missing as @IH-GARY noted above.
Posting a few pics here should it help anyone else, the first courtesy of Sunme showing both sizes with a Frida, the second comparing my frida and large Nixon, and the last doing my best to mimic IH-Gary

@pechelman Great choice! I love mine for sure!
Your design looks like mine but the one sat on the leather pouch looks to have an updated crown design. Mine feels more comfortable in the single position but feels fine in reverse. For me if it didn’t have the dog leg the crown would protrude over the knuckle in the reverse position. That said it’ll only ever be worn in the single position anytime soon LOL! -
Too funny, Gary!
Being not Irish and wearing a normal wedding ring on my left hand should be pretty clear but I was hoping to at least partly honor the tradition and wear it the "I'm taken" direction on my right hand. When I wear it that way, the crown digs in very quickly to my finger.
