I'm going to have to listen to that Prince based on the artwork alone and am huge fan of the Talking heads - this will be a good theme for my listening today (choosing albums with visually pleasing artwork )
Based on this my morning will continue with these:Scott Walker - 3
Nick Drake -Pink Moon
Soft Machine - Self Titled -
@GraemeE Soft Machine hell yeah
-
@steelworker - love those guys
Big fan of Ayers and Wyatt solo albums as well, even though it's a departure from the vibe of their earlier stuff with SM

Beatiful contribution everyone!
Tonight I was in the mood for the Dexy’s.
Story behind…
I have several singles and LP’s of DMR.

@steelydan - that jazz trio is Carter, Jones and Williams?
-
@GraemeE , yes ... Awesome bass , definitely demo quality.
-
@steelydan I've seen a handful of east wind stuff over the years but never owned any.
Their pressings are supposedly pretty high end?
-
@GraemeE , oh yes , for Japanese pressing , east wind n three blind mice are great audiophile favourite .. mostly direct cut ..
